Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of the Sasshey website, apps and services. By creating an account or using Sasshey you agree to them.
Last updated October 18, 2026
1. Who we are
Sasshey (“Sasshey”, “we”, “us”) provides a closet organization tool and a peer-to-peer marketplace where members can discover, offer on and buy items from other members’ closets. Sasshey is a platform that facilitates sales between members; except where we say otherwise, we are not the seller of any item.
2. Eligibility and accounts
- You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use Sasshey.
- You are responsible for your account, your password and any activity under it. Turn on two-step sign-in in Settings; we strongly recommend it.
- One person, one account. Do not impersonate anyone or create accounts to evade a suspension.
- Household members you invite to a shared home can see and, with your permission, edit the items in that home. You are responsible for who you invite.
3. Your closet and your content
You keep ownership of the photos, descriptions and other content you add to Sasshey. You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, resize, watermark and display that content in order to run the service, including showing your discoverable items to other members. You confirm that you own the items you add, that your photos are yours to share, and that nothing you add infringes anyone else’s rights.
We watermark public copies of your photos and strip location metadata before anyone else sees them. We may also use automated analysis to fill in item details from your photos.
4. Discovery and anonymity
Items in your closet are discoverable by default unless you mark them as not for sale, sold, or hide them individually. Discovery is anonymous: other members see the item, not your name, location, or the rest of your closet. You can turn discovery off for any item at any time. Making an item discoverable is not an offer to sell; nothing is sold until you accept an offer or set a Buy Now price.
5. Offers, orders and payment
- An accepted offer or a completed Buy Now purchase creates a binding order between buyer and seller.
- Buyers pay through Sasshey. Sellers are paid out after the buyer confirms delivery or the protection window ends.
- Sasshey charges a service fee on completed sales. Current fees are shown before you accept an offer or complete a purchase.
- Sellers must ship within the stated window using tracked shipping and must describe items accurately. Buyers may open a claim if an item is not as described, and Sasshey will decide the claim in good faith.
- All sales, payments and communications about an order must stay on Sasshey. Taking a deal off-platform forfeits buyer and seller protection and may result in account suspension.
6. Messaging and conduct
Messages, offer notes and profile text may not contain phone numbers, email addresses, social handles or links intended to move a conversation off Sasshey. We filter and may block such content. You also agree not to harass other members, post unlawful or counterfeit items, scrape the service, or interfere with its operation.
7. Prohibited items
You may not list counterfeit or replica goods, stolen property, recalled items, or anything unlawful to sell in your jurisdiction. We may remove items and suspend accounts at our discretion.
8. Fees and premium features
Organizing your closet is free. Some features are offered on a paid plan. Plan prices, billing periods and cancellation terms are shown at the point of purchase. Subscriptions bought through the Apple App Store are governed by Apple’s terms for billing and refunds.
9. Termination
You can delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or put other members at risk. Sections that by their nature should survive termination, including payment obligations and limitations of liability, do.
10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
Sasshey is provided “as is”. We do not guarantee that any item will sell, that AI-generated item details are accurate, or that the service will be uninterrupted. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sasshey is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid to Sasshey in the twelve months before the claim.
11. Disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law rules. Before filing any claim, you agree to contact us and attempt to resolve it informally for 30 days.
12. Changes and contact
We may update these terms as Sasshey grows. We will post the new version here and update the date above; for material changes we will email account holders first. Questions about these terms can be sent through the contact form. See also our Privacy Policy.
